It's an e-book. It's not under a publisher or anything. I just dug through the depths of my computer, collected my many scattered short stories, chose the ones that are good but not too painfully personal, fix them up, tie them together myself, and voila!
Skeletons in the Cupboard is 80 pages of short, personal, fictions by me, Aliya N. Anindita a.k.a. PseudoMon. Some of them are science fiction, some are fantasy, some are surrealist nonsense, all of them are bite-sized and can be read in one sitting. A couple of the stories in there I might have already posted in this blog or my doodle blog, but a couple is pretty new! And even the stories I've already posted here before has been jazzed up a bit for the book.
You can download it for free over on Itch. It's available as EPUB, MOBI, and PDF and I went to great lengths to make sure that it works well on those three formats. Great lengths, let me tell you. The PDF is also printable. It has a table of contents and everything! Or you can just read it online.
Real talk: I spent way too long agonizing over the formatting and minor errors and what if I made a mistake somewhere, what if this stories are actually crap, what if et cetera. It doesn't help that some of these words are a bit too personal for me. But you know what? This is getting out of hand, so I might as well get it off my hand and into the wild. It's the middle of the night. I'm too tired to make a fuss about it.
But are the stories themselves good? It take less than five minutes to read some of them! And it's free to download! Just grab it and stash it into your e-book reader and forget about it and maybe one day when you're bored you stumbled upon it again and you read a random story and it's just the right words when you need them the most.
